GSA-SJ Student Lounge
The GSA-SJ Student Lounge is located on the UNB Saint John campus, in Room 221 of the Thomas Condon Student Union Building (2nd floor, across from the Whitebone Lounge and Colonel Tucker’s). The door should be unlocked; if not then please contact security to let you in. There are couches, games, and some kitchen appliances (microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, coffee maker). You will also find a member of the GSA executive in his/her attached office. The GSA President’s office will remain in Ganong Hall 138-A until all renovations are completed in the executive office attached to the lounge.
All graduate students and MBA students are welcome to use the lounge for study or recreation. The lounge contains couches, a projection screen for movies, a desk, sports equipment, games, and puzzles.
The GSA has puzzles for use in the GSA lounge as well as some outdoor sports equipment (hockey sticks, frisbee, football, soccer, washer toss, badminton/volleyball net & equipment).
The GSA maintains a laser printer intended for graduate students to print ONE COPY of their thesis or final report. To keep our costs down we ask that you have additional copies of the original made elsewhere. To arrange use of this printer please contact the GSA President or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Laptop and Projector
The GSA has a laptop and projector that can be used by graduate students for presentations or for recreation on campus. The GSA lounge also has a screen if you’d like to view movies in the lounge. Since there exists only one laptop and projector, we request that you give the GSA advance notice of the date and time you need the equipment although we will do our best to accommodate requests on short notice. Requests can be sent to the GSA President or emailed to email@example.com
The GSA has a USB webcam for teleconferencing. We request that you give the GSA advance notice of the date and time you need the webcam although we will do our best to accommodate requests on short notice. Requests can be sent to the GSA President or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
